Melisa Yağmur Özel

Melisa Yağmur Özel focuses her practice primarily on Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Contract Law, Law of Obligations, and Capital Markets Law. She provides legal advisory services to companies operating in Türkiye, from the establishment stage through the structuring of corporate governance processes, the conduct of general assembly meetings, and the development of internal legal procedures.

She is actively involved in legal due diligence processes within the scope of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and investment transactions, and takes part in capital increases, share transfers, and other corporate restructuring matters of both public and private companies. She represents clients in shareholder disputes and provides comprehensive legal support throughout these processes.

In addition, she is involved in the drafting and negotiation of sale and purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, non-disclosure agreements, manufacturing, supply, lease and franchise agreements, as well as other commercial contracts, and provides ongoing legal consultancy to national and international companies, particularly in the textile, retail, investment, and tourism sectors.
